Burnage is a neighborhood of the city of Manchester in North West England, it is situated about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Manchester city centre, bisected by the busy dual carriageway of Kingsway, part of the A34. Burnage lies flanked by Withington in the west, Heaton Chapel in the east and Heaton Mersey in the south.
Burnage is a basically a residential area, where you will find mostly semi-detached houses built in the 1930s and 1940s. The area is served by two railway stations, Burnage and Mauldeth Road on the Styal Line.
