A mere ten minutes away from the Cairo International Airport, The Cairo International Conference Centre was built for the purpose of providing an area for conventions and conferences of vast proportions. Thus, preparations and plans evolved to create the massive thirty-hectare centre that it is now.

Of these thirty hectares over 58,000 square meters was used for the main conference centre. It has provided 15,000 square meters for its exhibition hall, 3,000 square meters for its section called the Gallery and 1,000 square meters for a bridge that connects the Exhibition centre to the main hall.

A new building called the Hall 4 with an area of 6,000 square meters connects the different sections of the complex and can be divided into two areas in cases where several functions or exhibitions occur at once. The Convention Centre also has a parking area that can accommodate up to 1,000 cars.

The complex also provides four auditoriums for its conferences. These are the Cheops Auditorium, Chefren Auditorium, Mycerinos Auditorium and the Press Centre. It Nefertiti Banquet Hall can seat up to 1,000 people during dining events.

Quite a popular attraction as well is the convention’s Chinese Garden. The stunning architectural lines of the Administration Building are not to be missed as well.

To protect the visitors in the complex, the centre has closed circuit monitoring systems for security as well. Hotels in the area are the Sonesta Cairo Hotel & Casino, Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn and The Karvin Hotel.
