The fourth busiest airport in all of Canada, Calgary International Airport is a popular travel hub for those getting around Canada, with a number of daily flights around the region and the country at large. In addition to being a hub of Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz, the airport is the base for WestJet Airlines.
Travelers heading to Canada from the States will find travel through Calgary International Airport markedly easier than many other international flights, mostly because it is one of eight Canadian airports that has pre-clearance facilities at the border. This means, effectively, that you won't have to stand in a three-hour line for customs after landing, since you were cleared and verified beforehand.

The airport is split into two separate concourses, one of which is further subdivided into two. Getting around from terminal to terminal is easy, since all buildings are interconnected. For regional flights within Canada, it is most likely that you'd be traveling out of Concourse A. All of the international flights, including those to the United States, are out of Concourse C and Concourse B.
