Open since 1943 and officially registered on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, the Campbell House Museum is dedicated to preserving the ome of Robert Campbell and his wife, Virginia Kyle Campbell. The Campbell's regal Victorian lifestyle and passion for expanding their residence makes it an incredible example of 1850s style architecture.

Saved from near-destruction by a local history group, the Campbell House Museum was created when this non-profit organization took over the care of the home, protecting it from potential bulldozing and development. The house has seen been bought, sold, refurbished, and restored to its original grandeur. The Campbell House Museum is now one of the most accurately restored buildings from the 19th century in all of America.

The Campbell House Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from ten until four, and on Sundays from noon until four. It's always closed on Monday, Tuesday, and on National Holidays, and is sometimes available for private appointment.
