The McClellan-Palomar Airport, or the Carlsbad Airport, is located three miles southeast of the Carlsbad business district in San Diego County, California. Owned by the County of San Diego, it replaced the former Del Mar Airport, opening in 1959. Currently, only United Express services the airport with commercial flights to LAX in Los Angeles. The airport has one runway, and offers free long term and short term (15 minute) parking. Rental cars and taxi-shuttle services are available from various providers once on the ground.

All hotels are also within range of area attractions like Legoland California, the Carlsbad Museum of Making Music, the Carlsbad Children’s Museum, and of course, beautiful sunny California beaches.
