Situated in South-Eastern Germany, the city of Baden-Baden is well-known for its thermal springs. With the thermal springs known for their healing properties, Baden Baden is also home to one of the most notorious casinos in the world, famous for its elegant style and rich history.

In 1872, the German government ordered the closing of all German casinos so it would be another 61 years, in 1933, that the casino would be reopened to be closed once again in 1944 until 1950.
