Leisnig is a small town in the district of Mittelsachsen, federal Free State of Saxony in Germany. The town features Mildenstein Castle which is over 1000 years old. The Mildenstein Castle is 60 m high, situated on the rock above the village Leisnig district Mittelsachsen in Saxony. Mildenstein Castle was built in the 1st century AD in the Romanesque style of Henry I. from the year 1993; the castle is Mildenstein property of the State of Saxony. Currently the Castle includes a museum. The Mildenstein Castle is symbol of power built in stone. Although this beautiful place now shows no sign of the cruel tortures to which prisoners were subjected, the exhibition "Gefangen, Gefoltert, Gerichtet" ("Captured, Tortured, Executed") and the prisoners' cells are a stark reminder of that time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leisnig
