Domestic passenger airlines and destinations include Jetstar Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Airlines, both of which transport passengers to and from Ho Chi Minh City. Formerly, the Viva Macau Airlines have also transported passengers to and from Macau but this has been discontinued.

Located in the heart of the Red River, it is about one hundred kilometers from Hanoi which is the capital of Vietnam. Hai Phong also serves as a main seaport for Vietnam’s northern region.
