Cathedral Basilica St. Francis of Assisi (or St. Francis Cathedral) is the cornerstone of the Santa Fe Catholic community. Completed in 1886 in the Roman Revival style, the cathedral is a stunning work of architecture and was declared a basilica by Pope Benedict in 2005.

Mass is held every weekday at 7 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., and on Sundays at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. (8 a.m. in Spanish).
