The tour takes visitors to the bell tower, explains the history behind the stained glass windows and dome, and through the sanctuary and up to the gigantic pipe organ. With the entire structure having been around since the 19th century, there's a rich history and tradition behind not just the building, but also, the congregation.

For worshippers, it's interesting to note that The Cathedral Guadalupe Church is home to the second-largest Catholic population in the entire country, with tens of thousands of people showing up each Sunday for mass. The only Catholic Church in the country that draws a larger crowd is St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.

In addition to offering tours and providing a space for mass and other religious worship, The Cathedral Guadalupe Church also participates in a number of events with other cultural centers in The Arts District, including offering a space for a number of children's choruses to practice and hold their recitals.

The Cathedral Guadalupe Church is open Monday through Friday, from nine until five. On Saturdays, hours extend from eight in the morning until eight in the evening, and on Sundays, from eight in the morning until three in the afternoon.
