Cedar City Regional Airport, in Cedar City, Utah, is a two runway airport serviced by SkyWest Airlines, a Delta Connection Carrier with flights to Salt Lake City. Located two miles north of the central business district, it is mostly used for general aviation. The airport’s main terminal provides free long-term parking, houses car rental agencies Avis, Enterprise, and Hertz, and has a business conference room. A second terminal for private pilots was opened at Sphere One Aviation in 2005. Cedar City is host to the Utah Shakespearean Festival, the Neil Simon Festival and the Olympic-style Utah Summer Games, amongst many others. Area accommodations include the Best Western El Rey Inn, the Hampton Inn, A Midsummer’s Inn, and the Stratford Court Hotel.
