One of the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is the Central Market, or the Pasar Seni / Pasar Budaya. The market is located along Jalan Hang Kasturi, which is a few minutes in distance from Petaling Street. It was built in 1888 as a wet market, but is now classified as a Heritage Site according to the Malaysian Heritage Society. As of the moment, it is now recognized as a landmark for Malaysian heritage and culture.
