One of the most popular attractions in Sydney Australia is the Sydney Tower, more popularly known to locals as the Centrepoint Tower. The tower is also known by the names AMP Tower, AMP Centrepoint Tower, and Centrepoint. It was first constructed in 1975 and was hailed as the fourth tallest building in the world during that time.

Standing at 305 m (1,001 ft), the Centrepoint Tower, is now recognized as the tallest free-standing structure in Sydney, the second tallest in the country, and the second tallest observation tower in the whole of the Southern Hemisphere.

Known as a member of the World Federation of Great Towers, it is situated above the Sydney Central Business District. The sections in the tower that are most frequented by visitors are the observation deck, the Sydney Tower Skywalk platform, and the Sydney Tower Restaurant.

The observation deck at 250 m (820 ft) above ground level has an enclosed viewing platform area where you could enjoy 360-degree views of the city. The Sydney Tower Skywalk platform at 268 m (879 ft) above the ground is an open-air viewing platform that can be accessed through booked tours. Meanwhile, the Sydney Tower Restaurant is a revolving restaurant, which has a seating capacity of 220 people.
