The Chabot Museum in Rotterdam maintains the works of painter and sculptor Henk Chabot, a Dutch man living from 1894 until 1949. Visitors to the Netherlands looking to see the works of one of the greatest Dutch artists can look no farther than Chabot Museum.

Housed in an angelic white villa, the museum features collections of the Dutch artist. Chabot's work covered a variety of mediums. His works depict Cubism and Symbolism, but Chabot also underwent periods of Naturalistic painting and sculpture. Some of his themes reflected urban and harbor life in Holland.

Art enthusiasts can reach the Chabot Museum in Museumpark from the Rotterdam Central Station by taking the metro or tramlines 4 and 7 to the Eendrachtsplein stop. If walking is more of your thing, the museum can be reached just 15 minutes by foot from the Central Train Station.

The Chabot Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00AM until 4:30PM. On Saturdays, the Museum is open from 11:00AM until 5:00PM, while on Sundays doors remain open from 12:00PM until 5:00PM.
