One of the surviving chantry houses in Ireland is the Chantry College located in the Dundalk. This town is located in County Louth which lies close to the Northern Ireland border. It is also the largest town in the country.

The Chantry College was built in the 15th century and like other chantry houses, used to be the residence of priests in the past that were employed by church benefactors to chant throughout the mass. A historical house, what is left of the Chantry College is a dilapidated ruin of an ancient building.
