There are a simply a lot of things to see all over Cape Town. One of these sites that most tourists visit is Chapmans Peak, which is a mountain on the western part of the Cape Peninsula. It can be accessed from the small seaside town of Hout Bay, and it provides those who stop by with a breathtaking view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

On the way to the top of Chapmans Peak, there is a road or drive incidentally called Chapmans Peak Drive that runs along the slope of the mountain range, leading to Noordhoek. The mountain is seen standing imposingly at the heart of the drive, and has been known as one of the most dramatic marine routes in the world.

While everything about the mountain and the drive is beautiful, it cannot be denied that there is a bit of a risk for those who venture out. This is because there are certain chances of rock fall that may happen, which even caused roads to be closed for approximately three years in 1999.
