The Charles Allis Art Museum, located at 1801 N. Prospect Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a beautiful, ivy-covered brick structure which houses a collection of French and American paintings from the 1800s. The museum was the home of the well-known architect Alexander Eschweiler, and the art it now contains is that of Charles and Sarah Allis. The museum's mission is to honor those dead in war, and provide arts enrichment and education to the local community. The collection, which includes original furnishings, spans an impressive 2000 years. Outreach programs include a classic movie series, which showcases American films, and the after-hours jazz concert series. Holiday events include A Very Vintage Christmas, which unites the community in the festive spirit of the season.

The facility is available to be rented, and self-guided tours are offered from Wednesday through Sunday, from 1 to 5 pm.
