The Chiesa della Salute is a church in Venice, Italy, built in 1631.Also called the Santa Maria della Salute, the Church is on the opposite side of the Grand Canal from St. Mark's Square.

Inside this church is famous artwork, including "Pentecostes" by Tiziano. Tiziano’s other works in the church, include the ceiling paintings of "David and Goliath,” "Cain and Abel" and "Isaac’s sacrifice.”

On November 21 of each year, city workers lay a pontoon bridge over the Grand Canal from the San Marco district to the Chiesa della Salute . The church's doors are then opened, and Venetians walk across the canal to pay their respects to the Virgin Mary. Passengers in gondolas can also receive blessings on the water by the priest from the church steps.

The church is open daily for visitors from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
