More gilded sights can be had inside the most popular attraction in Chinatown, Temple of the Golden Buddha. The complex is home to a 3-meter high Buddha image made out of 5.5 tons of gold.

Aside from gold shops, visitors can scour Chinatown’s streets for Chinese antiques and Thai handicrafts. Chinatown is most accessible through Hua Lamphong Station MRT station.
