The Chinatown Heritage Centre is one of the proofs of the many cultures that are found in Singapore, and it houses a great wealth of memories as well as untold stories of how the early forefathers of Singapore had first settled in the area after travelling a great distance.

Each level of the Chinatown Heritage Centre brings each guest on a trip down a different time in history of Chinatown. This allows those who are visiting to trace the footsteps and lives of the early occupants of the country. Admittedly, life during those times may be considered as harsh, yet at the same time, it was noted that it was always full of life, tradition, and lots of color.

The museum opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm every day including public holidays. Admission is around 10 SGD for adults and 6 SGD for children aged 2 to 12 years old.
