The Chinese Garden Singapore is a park located in Jurong East, Singapore – because of its location, it is also known as the Jurong Gardens. Built in 1975, it was designed by architect Prof. Yuen-chen Yu. It incorporates splendid Chinese architectural features with Chinese gardening art.

The Main garden of the park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. while the Bonsai garden and the Garden of abundance are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. only. Admission to the Main garden and Bonsai garden is free while fees are collected for the Garden of abundance and Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum. Aside from the various gardens, there are also notable features in the park – some of these are the Stone Lion, the ‘Pai Hung Ch’iao’ Bridge, the Stone Boat, the Tea House, the Pagoda, and the restaurant.

The Chinese Garden Singapore is located close to other tourist attractions and landmarks such as the Jurong Bird Park, the Japanese Garden, and the Chinese Garden MRT Station.
