Located only three miles to the north of the small city of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport is a publicly owned and operated airport that is primarily used for local general aviation purposes in the northern Wisconsin region. In fact, it is one of the largest and most trafficked airports in the northern Wisconsin region. The airport is property of Chippewa County, Wisconsin.

Chippewa Valley Regional Airport covers approximately 1,100 acres of land and has two paced runways. There are about 52,000 aircraft operations yearly on average, most of which is for general aviation.
