The Church of Santa Engracia in Lisbon, Portugal was built in the 17th century. The church stands on the site of an earlier church that was torn down after being robbed in 1630. The person who was blamed for this was executed but later exonerated. Before he died, it is said that he cursed the rebuilding of the church. Rebuilding of the church wasn't completed until 1966.

The church's centralized floor plan is in the shape of a Greek cross. Square towers are on each corner. The church's facade and interior is in the Baroque style.

In 1966, the church was converted into the National Pantheon, the burial place of many important Portuguese. Some of these include former presidents of Portugal, writers, and singers.

The Church of Santa Engracia is open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m every day except Monday. Entrance is free.
