City Theatre Hannover

The City Theatre Hannover is the main stage of the State Theater in Hanover, Germany.

Here visitors can see almost daily performances, a museum and a gallery. After the war the City Theatre didn’t have a large enough venue so the performances were held at the Hanover Opera House, but in September 1992 a new venue with 630 seats was opened. The building located on the Prince Street in Hanover is made of concrete reinforced with aluminum and has a futuristic style.

Good public transport, consisting in regular bus lines and trams, links the theater with the rest of the city.
