The Helsinki City Tourist and Convention Bureau’s Tourist Information office is located in Helsinki's Market Square. This main office offers free information about Helsinki including its sights, events and services. Brochures and maps are also available.

The Helsinki Expert Sales Point, a travel agency selling tickets for sightseeing tours, is also housed in the main Tourist Information office. Also sold here are ferry tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, and package tours to Tallinn, Lapland, and St. Petersburg. Car rentals and hotel reservations can be made here as well.

In addition, tour guides representing 27 different languages are available here to help tourists effectively explore Helsinki in almost any language.

During the summertime, Helsinki Tour Guides wear green and roam the city, helping tourists.

Tourist Information is open from May 2 to September 30, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. At other times of the year, the office is open
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
