Cleveland Browns Stadium

Hotels near Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland (Ohio), United States .

The home to the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Browns Stadium sits on 31 acres on Lake Erie. It has a capacity of over 73,200, and its grass playing field is large enough to host international soccer matches as well.

The Cleveland Browns Stadium was opened in 1999 and is situated on the former site of the Cleveland Municipal Stadium, which was torn down in 1996. Though it is first and foremost the home of the Browns, it also hosts college football games including bowl games and can be used as a concert venue. One of the most interesting tidbits regarding the stadium is that the city chose not to sell the naming rights of the stadium itself.

The public is welcome to visit the stadium even when the Browns aren’t playing through the Southeast and Southwest entrance plazas. They will appreciate the state-of-the art architecture and design of the stadium regardless. The best experience, however, comes from experiencing a Browns game and see the Dawg Pound section of the bleachers in action. Interested parties should head to www.clevelandbrowns.com to find out more.
