Part of the Columbus State University, the Coca-Cola Space Center is an interactive learning center for the physical sciences, specifically space science, astronomy, and physics. This is a truly hands-on institution, with plenty of great exhibits that encourage learning in both children and adults. A great example is the Challenger Center, where visitors have the opportunity to become engineers, scientists, and space travelers during the roughly 20 minute interaction. You'll also want to check out the Mead Observatory, which showcases a 16" telescope that is capable of covering events such as eclipses and meteor showers.

The museum is open Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The Coca-Cola Space Center is closed on Sundays. Admission is 6 dollars for adults, and 4 dollars for children under the age of 12.
