The layout of the building is clearly divided into special halls for children and adults. Collections range from old comics to newer strips. Visitors can even see how cartoonists work and how the comics are eventually produced.

The Comics Museum in Groningen is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10AM to 5Pm, just enough time to fit in a laugh or two in between sightseeing in Groningen.
