Commonwealth Stadium is located on the University of Kentucky in Lexington and is the home field for their football team, the Kentucky Wildcats. Named for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the stadium was built in 1973 and has the capacity to hold nearly 70,000 fans. One of the highlights of the stadium is the fireworks that are shot off after every Kentucky touchdown.
