The Concert & Congress Hall from the German city of Bamberg is named The Simphony on the River Regnitz and is the primary home to the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. This internationally reputed orchestra is providing a high-profile choice of cultural experience and stages around 50 concerts a year. The concert hall has a picturesque position in a quiet corner of Bamberg, just opposite the 18th century former hospital (now a hotel). These two buildings are linked by a graceful bridge over the river. In 2008, the acoustics of the hall had been extremely optimized and the hall itself was renovated and the foyer area extended.
