Located at 1402 Saint James Court in Louisville, Kentucky, the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum is part of the St. James-Belgravia Historic District in Old Louisville, roughly in the south-central part of town. The Conrad-Caldwell House is built in the Richardsonian mansion style, almost entirely made out of limestone with an majestic looking corner tower.

The house has alternatively served as a mansion for local magnates (such as original owner Theophilus Conrad, who commissioned its construction between 1892 and 1895), as part of a local church, as a boarding home during the Second World War, and most recently as a museum operated by the St. James Court Association as of 1987, following a major restoration project. The museum focuses on local history and the various owners of the property, and tours are available for the public from 12pm-4pm on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10am-4pm on Saturdays. The cost of admission is set at $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children. Find out more at the official site, at http://www.conradcaldwell.org/.

The Old Louisville district of town offers visitors many different establishments in which to seek accommodations, and among the offerings visitors will be sure to find the Dupont Mansion B&B, the Quality Inn & Suites, and the Brown Hotel.
