The Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate, located on Constantia, South Africa, was originally part of the much larger Groot Constantia granted by Simon van der Stel. It was in 1894 that the current portion, an inheritance of Antoinette Bredell of Schoemanshoek, became a homestead of the wine estate.

David and Marlene McCay bought and restored the farm in 1988 so that today, the estate not only takes pride of its award-winning wines but is also the proud owner of 3 world-renowned restaurants and a 16-room luxury hotel.

Visitors of the Constantia Uitsig Wine are in for a treat. They can choose to dine at any of the 3 restaurants or sample the wines produced by the winery at the shop/sales area located at the entrance of the estate. It is open from Mondays to Fridays at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tasting fees apply but these are waived for a purchase of 6 or more wines.
