Coop Arena

Coop Arena is located in Lulea, Sweden and is an indoor sporting arena.

This is the home arena of the Lulea HF ice hockey team and can accommodate between 6000 and 7000 people, depending on how the hall is structured. In 2002 it was refurbished and changed its name from Delfinen to Coop Arena because the naming rights were sold to the local division of the Swedish retail company Kooperativa forbundet.

During 2008-2010 Coop Arena will be rebuilt on a variety of ways. The ceiling will be raised and this way the arena will become a new standing lighter, it will have more dressing rooms, etc. In the COOP Arena can be arranged a variety of sporting events sports like ice hockey, basketball, figure skating, bandy and curling and others but also many other types of events such as large music events, performances, concerts, fairs, festivals, dances, shows and much more.

The arena has a restaurant which can seat between 200 and 400 people which is located on level two, nearby the sports bar. Lodges, which are 12 in number, are located on level three. On the ground floor there are three fast food restaurants and a souvenir shop. There is also a pub, called the Golden Pub, wardrobes and a large number of toilets.

Two bus lines (four and five) have stops at Delfingatan station, which is the bus stop of the Coop Arena.
