Corporation Street Birmingham is located in Birmingham, United Kingdom. It is the prime shopping street located in the heart of Birmingham.
The street spans over an area of 93 acres and runs from North to South. There are law courts at the Northern end, while it meets central New Street on the southern end. The street was originally a slum area, which was demolished to develop the Corporation Street.

The beauty of the Corporation Street is enhanced by Victorian buildings such as Methodist Central Hall, Victoria Law Court, The County Court etc. Corporation Street is currently undergoing a facelift. Corporation Street is a perfect blend of modern shopping centers and old historical buildings. The street has many buildings that are rated under Grade II listing.

Originally known as Lewis’s Department Store is now called The Minories Building. There are several small shops at the Minories. The ground floor houses a famous bar called The Square Peg.
