The Crestview Amtrak Station is located at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and North Main Street in Crestview, Florida. The station is small and unstaffed, built in a quaint style that reflects typical rail station architecture of the early 20th century; notwithstanding, the Crestview Amtrak Station was built in 1993 when the rail line Sunset Limited extended its service all the way down to Orlando, Florida (the line runs from Orlando to Los Angeles with Amtrak's Superliner train fleet).

As of late 2005, due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina in the region, the Crestview Amtrak Station has been without train service. It is not known at present when service will be reinstated, though Amtrak has not indicated that the station will be shutdown or that the suspension of service will be indefinite.

The Crestview Amtrak Station is located within a fairly close distance of several places to spend the night and find lodging, as it is located in the center of town. Visitors can choose between the Oakdale Inn, the Crestview Inn, the Hilton at Crestview and many other hotels and accommodations establishments.
