The Railway Station of Crewe is located in the city within the area of Cheshire East, county of Cheshire, England. It is very accessible, being situated near the crossing of the A534 and the A5020 Highways, in the close proximity of South Cheshire College and the Crewe Alexandra FC venue.
Crewe is the largest railway junction in the region, and it also houses the Crewe Works, which used to be a major railway engineering facility, presently reduced in size. It also housed the Rolls-Royce motor car production, from 1946 till 2002. The station was founded in 1837 in the fields near the Crewe Hall, and has a very rich history. The building of the station has helped enormously the development of the city. A bus stop is located just outside the railway station, ensuring a fast and safe way to travel across the area.
