The 9-hole Croisic Golf course, located at Pointe Croisic and facing the sea, was designed by J. Saint Cricq in the Scottish tradition of respecting the natural contours of the earth. Besides golfing, the main draw of this course is it's location at the tip of the peninsula, perfect for fishing, yachting and coastline sightseeing. The fishing port and marina of Croisic is one of the first fishing ports in France to start harvesting prawns, and as a result, fresh seafood abounds at the local eateries. The town is full of charming older houses and historical buildings, such as a church dating back to 1494 and built in the Gothic tradition. The township is reminiscent of an ancient and prosperous maritime society, while the golf course itself represents the pinnacle of the area's modernity.
