Cars, trucks, and trailer lovers can all appreciate the DAF Museum in Eindhovern in the Netherlands. The Museum contains an extensive collection of DAF trucks and passenger cars, spanning decades of history.

In 1928, A.H. Huenges, owner of the De Valk Brewery, created a workshop right next door for the Van Doorne brothers. That workshop would become the Van Doorne's Aanhangwagenfabriek, or DAF, in 1932. The company became famous for producing trailers, semi trailers, trucks and cars.

Visitors today can tour the DAF Museum. DAF features a number of collections, including a room to educate visitors on the company's history, a number of prototypes, and over 40 trucks on display. Of the Museum's most notable artifacts, a Siluro show model sits in the DAF, the first wedge shaped car.

The Museum costs 7 Euros to enter for an adult. The DAF Museum may also be an ideal spot to take children. Admission for the little ones costs just 2.50. The Museum is open from Tuesday through Sunday, 10AM to 5PM. Visitors can easily reach the museum, as it is just a 15-minute walk for the Central Railway Station.
