D’ Coque

D’Coque is the National cultural and Sporting Centre from Luxembourg, the biggest indoor arena in Luxembourg.

The sports centre begun to be built at the end of the 1990s as an addition of the already built Olympic Swimming Pool. Being capable of holding 8300 people, D’Coque is the largest sports venue in Luxemburg. Trade shows and indoor sport events as basketball, gymnastics, handball and wrestling are hosted by this arena. D’Coque ndoor sports complex has recently hosted the Fencing World Cup and played host to a number of notable figures like Dalai Lama or Elton John.

With exceptional infrastructure, the hull is the essential meeting place for athletes of all levels, as a dozen federations who train regularly, and for 5520 schoolchildren who come every week or even the general public.

The new Aquatic Center in Hull reopened. It has now largely completed infrastructure and nicely upgraded: 8 cloakrooms group (for groups, clubs, schools ,...), many individual lockers, cabinets of various sizes and tailored to the needs of different audiences, 2 blocks of 23 showers, 2 combined toilet / shower facilities for disabled.

In addition, the new Aquatic Center also offers a new wading pool (two times larger than the former), a rest-space with distributors of drinks, snacks (sweet and salty snacks, sandwiches house) and solariums.

The sports complex is located just two minutes walk to the station of the bus route *156, so the transportation for the sport lovers is not a problem.

A range of hotels and guest houses are situated within easy reach of D’Coque sports complex, like Hilton Luxembourg, Hotel Le Royal, Grand Hotel Le Cravat and Hotel Parc Plaza, rates starting from 46 Euros per night.
