Also known as the Jack McNamara Field, the Del Norte County Airport is owned and operated by the county of Del Norte, the airport being located at a distance of approximately three miles (to the northwest) from Crescent City, California. The airport is principally intended for general aviation usage, although there is one commercial passenger airline providing service to and from the Del Norte County Airport. Specifically, that would be United Express operated by SkyWest Airlines, which flies to Sacramento, San Francisco, and Arcata/Eureka.

The airport occupies approximately 500 acres of land outside of Crescent City, and has two paved runways. In a given year, the airport has approximately 9,800 aircraft operations on average, the vast majority of which fall under the category of general aviation.
