With over 5,000 items, the Derryglad Folk Museum houses a plethora of artifacts for visitors to see. From horse drawn machinery, tradesman's tools, a 1930's thatched bar and even old rare washing machines, the Museum's collection alone highlights farm and folk life in Ireland as far back as the 18th century.

The Derryglad Folk Museum is privately owned and run by the Finneran Family. Visitors can experience all sorts of memorabilia pertaining to history, heritage, and folk culture May through September. The Museum's hours run 10AM to 6PM Monday through Saturday, and Sundays from 2PM to 6PM.
