The home of the man known as the liberator of Ireland sprawls out on 120 hectares along the breathtaking Kerry Coast. Today, Derrynane House belongs to visitors throughout the year, but housed Daniel O'Connell, the man would obtained Catholic Emancipation for the country.

Visitors can tour O'Connell's ancestral home, displaying family portraits and writings from the famous lawyer, politician, and statesman. The Derrynane House offers 30 minute guided tours on request of rooms displaying relics of Daniel O'Connell's life and career.

The Derrynane House is open April, October, and November from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:30AM to 5PM. From May to September the home's hours go from 10:30AM to 6PM.
