The Derwent Entertainment Centre is a tourist attraction located between the Brooker Highway, the River Derwent and Tattersalls Park, in the city of Glenorchy. It is the largest and primary entertainment venue for indoor gatherings and events. It seats around 5,400 when fully seated and 7,500 when it is general admission.

It was built in 1980 and was later commemorated in 1989 as a way to celebrate the bi-centennial anniversary of Australia. The Centre has different types of seating arrangements to accommodate the event. It has seating that can be arranged into various types of arrangements such as arena seating, retractable seating, lower circle or upper circle, depending on the event.

The main area and venue is known as the Box Office. The Box Office operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. If an event is scheduled outside of these hours, the box office would open 2 hours prior to the event proper to accommodate the entrance of the viewers.

It has parking spaces available at $2. Free parking is available for ticket purchases which occur between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors can reach the centre by public transport through Elizabeth Mall in Hobart from its bus stop.
