Located in Branson, Missouri, visitors will find the Branson Dinosaur Museum, which is full of life size dinosaur sculptures and recreations. The museum's models are referred to as "flesh replications" and are designed and finished by expert paleo-artists, based on real fossils and other evidence of what dinosaurs actually were like (not simply based on movie depictions). Among the most realistic depictions of dinosaurs in the world, the pieces are manufactured in the Utah desert and shipped to the museum whole or in pieces (in the case of the larger samples).
Exhibits at the museum are designed to be interactive, and children can partake of mock archaeological digs and learn all about natural history in exciting formats. Several of the most recognizable dinosaurs are given their own display, such as the T. Rex, the Allosaurus, the Stegosaurus and a special section on swimming dinosaurs.

The museum opens daily at 9am. Tickets to enter the museum cost $9.95 for adults and $8.95 for kids. The adjacent Haunted House, run by the same owners, has separate admissions fees though special tickets can be had when visiting both. Nearby lodging to the museum can be found at the Grand Oaks Hotel, the Grand Victorian Hotel, or the Branson Grand Royale Hotel, among many other options.
