Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The park is home to the world´s largest outdoor wave pool amongst many other thrilling water rides and attractions. Typhoon Lagoon also features plenty of guest services such as picnic areas, shopping, and several dining options. Guests are permitted to bring coolers into the park, but glass and alcohol are prohibited.

Typhoon Lagoon opened in 1989 and over the years has gained notoriety for being the most-visited water park in the world. The main attraction of the park is Mount Mayday, which spews an enormous geyser of water 50 feet into the air every half hour. The majority of the park’s waterfalls and slides surround Mount Mayday including the Storm Slides, Mayday Falls and Overlook Pass. Another area of the park, Hideaway Bay features a sandy beach area and the Crush n´ Gusher water coaster. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park also has a wave pool, surf school and plenty of areas to just relax and soak up some Florida sun.
