Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall is the first shopping center to rise in Tel Aviv, making it the grand dame of shopping venues in the city. It is located south of Dizengoff Square in the heart of the city center. These landmarks were named after the first mayor of Tel Aviv.

The mall is composed of two sections that are bordered by King George and Dizengoff streets, with a link to the smaller road of Tchernichovsky. With over 300 stores inside, the four-level Dizengoff Center mall is a veritable trove of fashion brands from high-end global stores to local designer shops. One interesting feature of the mall is its top floor called SOHO, which showcases the best local items and trade exhibitions on occasion.

Weekends witness a flurry of events inside Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall. A fashion bazaar and food market attracts locals and tourists alike to sample fine fare out of Tel Aviv’s design and culinary circles. Business hours are at 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. during Sundays to Thursdays. On Fridays, it closes early at 2:30 p.m. For Saturdays, the mall opens only after sundown, due to Sabbath day rest.
