Docklands Stadium, also known by its sponsor name ‘Etihad Stadium’, is a multi-purpose entertainment and sports stadium located in Melbourne. It was formerly known as the Victoria Stadium, the Colonial Stadium, and the Telstra Stadium. Its exact location is the Harbour Esplanade, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is operated by Melbourne Stadiums Limited and is owned by the James Fielding Funds Management.

The stadium was originally constructed to replace Waverly Park, which was the primary setting for Australian Rules football games. The Docklands Stadium is currently the home of the Australian Football League, who will assume ownership of the stadium grounds in 2020. The Seven Network’s digital broadcast center is also based out of the Docklands Stadium. Aside from Australian Rules football, the stadium has also hosted other sporting events such as cricket, rugby, and rugby union matches. Concerts have also been held at the Docklands Stadium. Special events such as the Catholic Jubilee Mass of 2000 have also been held at the stadium.
