Located in the Seaside Park area of Varna in Bulgaria, the Festa Dolphinarium Varna was built in 1984 and has become a popular tourist attraction.

Built in the shape of a glass cube, the Dolphinarium includes two pools and an audience hall.

Four dolphins currently perform 40 minute shows, three times a day for visitors: Pipi (one of the first dolphins at the Dolphinarium who is now 30 years old), Doli, Kimbo, and Yoana. Performances are given Tuesday through Sunday. Shows are conducted in four languages, Bulgarian, Russian, German and English.

Dolphins are only fed during trainings and performances.

A coffee bar overlooks the smaller pool, so that visitors can watch the dolphins performing and enjoy coffee at the same time.

Admission to the shows is $13 USD for adults.

Hotels in Varna include the Park Hotel Persey, for about $35 USD per night, close to the seashore yet not far from the central part of the city of Varna. Also available is the more luxurious Modus Hotel, for $105 USD per night, offering 37 rooms near the Sea Garden with beautiful views of both the beach and the city.
