Modeled after courses in California and designed by Michel Gayon, the Domaine de Rochebois is well-integrated into its natural environment. Host of the French Championships in 1990, it is as neat and well-kept as it is unique. Water is a factor in 13 of the 18 holes, and the entire course is considered one of the longest and most difficult in France. Flat greens, wooded areas and bunkers create a surprising variety for players. Fortunately, a detailed map of the course plan and each individual hole is available on the website. Facilities include a clubhouse with a restaurant/bar, catering services, conference rooms, and a pro shop. Professional and amateur competitions are scheduled regularly. Green fees range from €36-52 for 18 holes, €25-35 for 9 holes and €13 for the compact course.
