This 9-hole links course is one of the oldest in the Netherlands. It is famous for its unusual bunkers: bomb craters from WWII, when Allies sent an air raid on German military stationed in the area. Designed in 1914 by golfing pro EC Warren, the course was refurbished post-war in 1955. The craters are now well-integrated into the course, and wind and sand spots add to the challenge. The greens overlook the sea and many rare and protected plants grow in the area, inspiring the staff's commitment to responsible environmental practices. The introductory rate is € 30 for a single adult and € 50 thereafter on weekdays (€ 60 on weekends), with deep discounts for youth under 20.
